Joe Paterno has decided to stop doing his g weekly Thursday night statewide call-in radio show.
“It’s a tough show for me, because I have to come right off the field to do it,” Paterno said yesterday at Penn State‘s Media Day. “If we have a lousy practice and somebody wants to ask me something [Paterno doesn't like], I feel like saying, ‘Go jump in a lake.’ It’s a pain in the rear end. I want to get home and start doodling, figuring out a couple of things for the game on Saturday. It does wear on you a little bit.”
Just another example of something that the 83-year-old Paterno can no longer do.
